Service center for the newest GE engines
XEOS is a joint venture between GE Aviation and Lufthansa Technik. The two leading aviation companies built a state-of-the-art aircraft engine service center in Środa Śląska, Southwestern Poland. XEOS opened for business and inducted the first engine in April 2019. The new facility is overhauling GE engines operated by Lufthansa and other airlines as well as cargo operators.
At the mature state, around 600 skilled workers will be employed here.
