Service center for the newest GE engines
XEOS is a joint venture between GE Aviation and Lufthansa Technik. The two leading aviation companies are building a state-of-the-art aircraft engine service center in Southwestern Poland. The new facility will overhaul GE engines operated by Lufthansa and other airlines as well as cargo operators.
Around 600 skilled workers will be employed in the modern facility in the Legnica Special Economic Zone in Środa Śląska. Operations are scheduled to start in 2019.
